This is a picture of George Washington Carver.He was the one who invented peanut butter and many other peanut related products and many more ideas and inventions.

This guy also invented candy from potatoes.In my opinion I think he is awesome.He even has his own coin.

Benjamin Franklin

This is Benjamin Franklin on the new 100 dollar bill.

Benjamin Franklin invented many useful things but I will only be mentioning his  invention of the lightning rod.

After  his discovery of the electricity,Benjamin Franklin invented the lightning rod to keep houses safe from getting struck by lightning and burning down.There was a rod that sticks up in the air on top of a roof and runs alongside of the house to the ground.So when there is lighting the lightning rod will attract the lightning and safely guide it into the ground.

The Scream

In The Scream’s timeless image is a genderless person with a pale face, standing beside a railing with an expansive view of a chaotic environment. 
The scene of The Scream was based on a real, actual place located on the hill of Ekeberg, Norway, on a path with a safety railing. The faint city and landscape represent the view of Oslo and the Oslo Fjord. At the bottom of the Ekeberg hill was the madhouse where Edvard Munch’s sister was kept, and nearby was also a slaughterhouse. Some accounts describe that in those times you could actually hear the cries of animals being killed, as well as the cries of the mentally disturbed patients in the distance. In this setting, Edvard Munch was likely inspired by screams that he actually heard in this area, combined with his personal inner turmoil. Edvard Munch wrote in his diary that his inspiration for The Screamcame from a memory of when he was walking at sunset with two friends, when he began to feel deeply tired. He stopped to rest, leaning against the railing.  He felt anxious and experienced a scream that seemed to pass through all of nature. The rest is left up to an endless range of interpretations, all expressed from this one, provocative image.

The School of Athens

School of Athens is one of a series of four frescoes painted by Raphael representing branches of knowledge. The frescoes, located on the walls of the Stanza, include images descriptive of philosophy, poetry, law, and theology. School of Athens is dedicated to philosophy as a path to knowledge, especially related to understanding causes to drive knowledge. All of the philosophers shown in the fresco traditionally sought knowledge through an understanding of root causes, tying back to the title and theme of the fresco.
